Extreme Commerce Magna Carta College (ECMCC) is Pakistan's first entrepreneurial higher education institute that came into being as a joint venture between Extreme Commerce and Magna Carta College, Oxford’s Independent Business School. The BTEC qualifications by Pearson offered at ECMCC are high quality, hands-on qualifications grounded in the real world of work.
Pearson UK and ECMCC entered into an MoU on 31st March, 2021. Mr. Hameer Ali from ECMCC and Syed Waqar Shah, Country Manager, Pearson Pakistan signed the MoU.
This MoU will facilitate ECMCC in offering Pearson BTEC programs including Level 5 programs of BTEC HND Business and Computing.
Along with offering a wide array of courses Pearson and ECMCC will assist each other for a continuous professional development and international outreach.
Mr. Kashif, Mr. Usman and Ms. Sumbal from ECMCC also attended the signing ceremony.
Learning Resource Network (LRN)

UK-Pakistan Academic Partnership to Strengthen Research and Development in Emerging Technologies - Mike Nithavrianakis, Britain’s Deputy High Commissioner and Trade Director for Pakistan
The launching ceremony of ECMCC 'Centre of Emerging Technologies' and its collaboration with AccrediNation took place on 8th July, 2021.
ECMCC (CET) in Pakistan focuses on developing a future generation of tech leaders with a special emphasis on emerging technologies in partnership with the British Computing Society (BCS).
The centre offers a wide range of globally recognised IT certifications which caters to leaders, learners and professionals.
His Excellency, Mike Nithavrianakis British Deputy High Commissioner, Karachi and Trade Director for Pakistan attended the ceremony as the guest of honour and shared words of encouragement.
This venture is destined to open doors to international opportunities and further strengthen the IT sector in Pakistan with human capital.
